Sydney North Junior and Youth AFL 9s Pre-Season Competition

As a current Sydney North Greater Sydney Juniors player, we would like to invite you to play in the inaugural Junior and Youth AFL 9s competition in 2012.

The Sydney North AFL 9’s competition will be held at Macquarie University, North Ryde commencing on Thursday, 9th of February and concluding with the grand finals to be played on Thursday, 22nd of March.

Junior games (must be 10, 11 or 12 year old as of competition start date) will be played from 4-5pm, with youth games (must be 13, 14 or 15 year old as of competition start date) played from 5-6pm. Parents can then hang around and participate in the senior competition from 6pm – AFL 9’s really is the game for everyone!

The competition will be mixed, so girls are more than welcome to come and join in the fun. AFL 9’s is easier to play, less physically demanding and provides an environment whereby participation, enjoyment and safety are a priority.

The cost of the competition will be $50 per person, which includes 7 weeks of games, and an AFL football.

 You can register as a team and represent your junior club/school (min. 9 players, max. 15 players) or register as an individual and we will place you in a team. Non-AFL players are definitely encouraged to participate.
